So I've been practicing competitive eating at work. It started last summer when I kept wanting to enter some kind of eating contest; especially tofu. But I've been practicing recently with desserts. Two main kinds, to represent two different arenas of edibility in the competitive eating world: cheesecake and tiramisu. My record for cheesecake is 23 seconds for one piece and 13 seconds for a piece of tiramisu. Anyone want to challenge me to an eating contest? C'mon and step up to the plate

But that's better than nothing. I also have to use my roommates computer (apple) because mine (pc) has the power of a 3yr old palm pilot. Also, switching computer types is like trying to write with my left hand. Oh yeah, I'm also trying to teach myself how to do that; write with my left hand. I kinda forgot until just now, but I used to spend my breaks at work writing the alphabet and numerics with my left hand over and over. Hmmmm...still worth pursuing I suppose.
Has anyone ever read "Dog Years" by Gunter Grass? I swear, I know I'm not the most intelligent man on Earth, but I have to have a dictionary in my lap as I'm reading it for a word every other sentence. Test your vocabulary on words I didn't know and make me feel stooopid: fillip? comestible? hie?
Just bought a new DVD, "Little Otik" by Jan Sjanmajer - the surrealist master who tutored the Brothers Quay. It is awesome! I highly (very highly
) reccomend this movie. Only thing was it wasn't widescreen, but I've run into some foreign film that even projects a square image onto the big screen.
Shit. It's a new month. Fucking Febuary, too. I hate Valentine's Day when I'm single. I used to think that I really hated it when I was in a relationship, but now that I'm single I REALLY hate it
