bad day
so i finally decide to get my shit legal. by shit i mean car, of course, and by legal i mean registration. my liscence had expired on my 30th birthday, so i decided to spend a whole day just taking care of said shit.
well, there's a block from getting my shit renewed because i failed to go to some substance abuse class from a minor in possesion of alcohol charge from 1993!! so i'm trying to find out how much i need to pay to sort it all out and i'm told that i have to go to a substance abuse class, pay a reinstatement fee of $200 and then my privledges will be suspended for a year. after that, i'm all clean. WTF!! there's no way around the year thingy so that sucks a major donkey dick.
i did ask her why all of a sudden do these blocks come up. well, DMVs just went on the national registery (sp?). you know, after 9/11 and all.
so i think i can't drive for a year because i got caught with some beer when i was 20 and the patriot act.

and OH MY GOD ~ that is RIDICULOUS!! i really wonder how the dmv dreams up these things ... because they are insane. seriously, i hope that works itself out soon, and that you actually are not a victim of such a fate. there has to be another way ...
i am slightly cloudy with a chance of just about anything. this week has been rather bizarre ~ too much of everything, but that includes good things, so .... yeah. right now i am so tired (yet unable to sleep grrr) that my communication is fairly limited at best.
