i've been trading some old videos online. this week's batch included six hours of ralph bakshi's mighty mouse, 16 hours of the adv. of pete & pete, 4 hours of parker lewis can't loose, 2 hours of bill & ted's excellent tv show, the unaired cheech marin pilot, and 6 hours of tales of the gold monkey (and what an indiana jones rip that is!). but the best part of all this is the old commercials. i've also seen commercials for wendy's with the "where's the beef lady", the buggleboy jeans where the lady drives up to a guy walking on a desert road and asks, "are those bugleboy jeans" and drives away, and my all time favorite, the anti-cocaine ad where the cracked out businessman with the sketchy moustasche drops his dope behind a seedy toliet and crawls around to get it when the door opens and all of his family, friends, and co-workers are laughing at him. there sure where a lot of anti-cocaine ad on tv in the 80's, and lots of anti-drinking (&driving) ads in the 90's on tv. and now all the anti-marajuana ads on tv today. it's like they pick a vice per decade; what's next? special k, i hope. or whipits.
