Well now that the holidays are over I guess it's time to get back to the real world. Have to go back to work in the morning and start my next semester in a few weeks. Had to make the weekend count so I went out with a few friends saturday night. I heard about some place called The Flying Monkeys (no clue how as to the origin of the name) so we went to check it out. We were told that some bands play there on the weekends. The place looked closed when we got there so we had to find something else to do. This city blows for people like myself. We went downtown to a yuppie club and had a few beers. We had to leave when the band that was filled with grandpas started to cover lowrider (I think that's the name of the song). We walked over a block to different club with more people of our age category. Some hip-hop band called the seven-teenth story (or was it floor) was playing there. Although hip-hop is not really my scene I did have some fun. Danced with some girls (I sucked). It's been well over a year since I have danced. I think I pissed this one girl off. She came over right in front of me and started dancing. Instead of dancing with her I had a hand in the air yelling the chorus of that "Back yo azz up" song (heh, that's the only part I know). She turned around and gave me an evil look after a couple of minutes. I'm always hesitant about putting my hands on stranger. Kind of screwed up as I have more than enough confidence to perform my duties (that could get me or somebody else killed) when playing warrior on the weekends, but little when it comes to girls. Initiating the first move that is. Making that first move while sober can be intimidating. A-OK when I have some alcohol in me. I guess I should take Sean's advice. Eventually, after a few songs, I loosened up.
Although the holidays are over I still have new-years eve to look forward to. It will be a night of drunken revelry like no other as I have not been drunk off my ass since the Marine Corp ball (that's Nov. 10 for you non-jarheads).

Yea, I think I could get to atlanta in about 3.5 hours to, but I have friends that live on the other side of Atl. so I have to drive all the way through town, which sucks cause the traffic is horrible.
