Firstly, thanks to @mrkala for including me in this questionnaire. Kind of a rarity for me (😉) and a lot of fun! So here we go…

1. Three favorite things you like about spring?

Spring is the annual miracle when the planet comes back to life. Hope is all around, and love is in the air.

2. Who's going on vacation, holiday or weekend getaways this spring?

No big plans… But several day trips, and a couple of overnighters. Some fun in NYC, but I’ll mostly be going there for meetings.

3. Three outdoor activities you enjoy in the spring?

A. Getting lost in nature or a park/forest.

B. Day trips to small towns, on the highways time forgot.

C. I actually like going to baseball games, even though I never really followed sport and don’t watch from home.

4. Something you enjoy doing in the upcoming month of May?

I’m not sure … usually a transitional month … lots going on … May or may not love May.

5. Coffee or Tea?

Coffee in the morning (mandatory), tea in the evening (optional).

6. A new 2023 song you’re enjoying?

“Panopticom” by Peter Gabriel.

7. Anyone going to a concert this spring?

Not until summer, but there are a few plays on my agenda.

8. Do you use sunscreen?

Unfortunately, it’s necessary, sunny, or cloudy, summer, or winter. I have rosacea and the Sun is not my friend, but I’m also allergic to most sunscreen. (Praises be to Elta MD!)

9. Anyone sunburned this spring?

Thank heavens no (my face tends to swell up like a tomato).

10. Do you do spring cleaning?

I find I do my major cleaning in the dead of winter. Or not at all.

11. Favorite new movie or movies in the new year?

“Picard” rocked all of my worlds.

12. A spring time smell you enjoy?

The cut grass, flowers in bloom, the fresh rains, of course. But there’s something sweeter, a subtle ineffable scent that drifts in on the Spring air that takes me back to memories I can’t quite recall, but they are very happy ones.

13. How did you spend your Easter this spring.

I was really more engaged in the “Aries Birthday Parade“ here, but I did go to a beautiful garden and Arboretum. The trees were not fully green, but the flowers were so happy and excited!

14. Question for the stoners, how did you spend your 4/20 day?

I did observe the occasion, but not at the appointed time; I never partake until 9 or 10 at night, when everything is done.

15. Three of your favorite hobbies?

Pondering things.

Writing and linguistics.

Existing consciously.

16. Favorite beach?

TMTM, and so many still left to explore! I feel most at home in Rehoboth Beach. The beach may have been eroded to no small degree, but the quaint, relaxed, fand inclusive little town and it’s “ecosystem” are always in my heart. (Plus, the dolphins love to swim in to the calm waters there and there are no damn mosquitoes!)

17. Tell us something we don't know about you?

I was declared dead twice before I started school.

Definitely in deep, and it’s so good!

What is your favorite not-so-guilty pleasure?

Pre-code “crime pictures” and “horror shows.”
