life consists of a whole lot of present moments. There is no past, just a trace memory of one present moment or another stored in our brains. The future is our clinging to our constant desires which once attained are soon forgotten and then so arises a new desire. The truth is that in this present moment is all we ever need. One needs only be completely present in mind to see the truth of this, which is easier said than done. Our minds have gotten into the habit of clinging to pleasurable things and pushing away the things that are'nt so disireable. Causing us to be wanting or not wanting rather than to just be. O.K. so how do we stop this. Well there are hundreds and hundreds of books about mind training, and many teachers all around us we just need to ask for their help and seach them out.
