Many people search for a label to their persona. Not to identify who they are, or tell them who to be, but to legitimize and justify the way they are. I think someday others may be diagnosed with Hirsch syndrome.

before social networking was 'the big thing' people only had one or two [common] places to post. not its facebook, myspace, SG, LJ, twitter, etc

wasn't it nice when being a nerd and saying something or expressing your thoughts to all of your friends wasnt that hard?

Trying to conserve funds recently so my membership lapsed for a little while. I knew I'd be back though *they always come back.*

Its been an interesting last few months and now I have to shift focus on being best man for my friends wedding, which I fear I may fuck up something fierce.

My parents are just under half way in to a 15 day Med cruise. I just talked to my dad, they are having a great time and all is well They are so luck y to get to travel so much and while they are both very much deserving of it, I really wish that I could find the key to making sure Larissa can...

So I'd like to offer apologies if I seem to have randomly friended and then de-friended you a bunch recently. I have been having some issues with friend requests being sent seemingly just by viewing profiles.

So yeah, just because I sent it doesn't mean I don't wanna be your friend, but I'm not much of a soclial butterfly (and timid about friending) so there's...

When you are scribing your observations while the person under the microscope if next to you (and maybe your bride to be's mother, ya know, hypothetically), you tend to be more articulate.

From the point in life in which we realize we are not yet adults we see adults in a different light than oursevles. The media, our partents, our teachers, etc all portray adults as mature people who realize the consequences to their actions. They may or may not live for the now, but they are always ready for the future.

Then, one day, your driving...

Actually, I get very agitated because when I don't like someone I can think "well, maybe the reason I don't like them is not their fault, they may be angry at me because they have other problems and don't know how to deal with it" and so on, and in this way I feel I am behaving like an adult. Other people seem to struggle with not hating me for childish reasons, and then I get annoyed because they should act like a grown-up.

I am still very amused by pop-up books and ice lollies, though.

There you go, I read it.

we all have adult like qualities (well, most of us). qualities that have come about form a combination of various life experiances./ Perhaps these qualities are the ones that the impressionable people pick up onthe most (ie kids) and give us our idea of what it is to be an adult.

Like any other trait its a push-pull kinda deal. Most would say I am old for my age, an old soul, and have been for many years...that being said I still giggle like a kid when at disney, and laugh when I see someone fall.

Just becuase a facade is up doesn't mean there isnt a wall with similar qualities right behind it.

PS - Thank you. :-)

This afternoon another wonderful week off ended. It sucks, a whole week ahead of me and nothing but work. I want so badly to move to Orlando and get things going, but I am sooo broke right now and I just don't know that there is an end in sight. I need to find that thing. That thing that Pablo and I can do to...

Why is it that no matter how much you have to do at work, and even if you are paid hourly, when a meeting or some other even that meant you had to go in early is cancelled you suddenly don't have a care in the world?

Today was supposed to be my halfday and it was almost ruined by meetings. Cancelled! So excited, I...

I show up to work. I do my job. It really isn't that difficult. Somehow, I have long felt like crap about my job. I mean, I know I don't like the schedule but there was something else. Today I realized what this other thing was. Each day I go to work, I worry about what someone is going to get on my case about,...
