oh oh well my sister is here with my niece and i love it.
they are amazing and i am so glad that they are here.
... also....
i would like to say this...
I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love. - Mother Teresa.
I am not a christian and I am not very religous, but I am coming to
to see that good comes out of everything even when you can't quite tell. I am not going to rely on prayer and I am not going to rely on
people's words when I don't see actions. I see that people will talk and people will spread lies, rumors, and things to betray one another, but why is it that we are so quick to spit out hate yet so hesitant to spread words of hope and love. I am not saying I am perfect and that I am a walking optimist twenty four seven because that would be false.
I have hurt people. I have lied. I have cheated. I have betrayed.
When you find someone that hasn't then you have found an anomaly.
It is human nature to make mistakes.
I am not afraid to admit my flaws and the things that I have done, but
don't flatter yourself by putting my name in your mouth when you don't know me or my life, my past or my future. When you take your time to make up things and say "well she said..." it is a waste of mind and time, so please read a book or water a flower, perhaps even try to learn not to be childish, but until then I wish people the best even the ones I don't care for. I believe that once you can achieve that then you can live at peace and not worry about what people say.
The Dali Lama's Instructions for life:
1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three R's:
Respect for self
Respect for others and
Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
7. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
13. In disagreements with loved ones deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
I want to live my life by it not because it makes it easier, but because it makes sense.
