we had two new apprentice's start yesterday-we get a new set every six months.even though its only the second day they've been here,i've got a good feeling about them.they seem level headed,they're inquisitive,and it seems that they're not a couple dumbasses.one of our last apprentice was completely incompetent-everything he touched turned to shit-i'm not kidding,he had to make three of each piece that he worked on because he would screw up.he slowed us down because we had to remedy the problem.I feel bad for the kid,i tried my damnedest to help and teach him but it was in one ear and out the other.you can only help someone so much.everyone in the shop was irritated by him,even my boss-he wanted to fire him-thats bad-being fired from a six month apprenticeship(we let him fufil his six months)-if he had a job passing out toothpicks he'd probably screw that up-i don't know how a person could do that but he probably would.i did learn how to deal with someone like that(never have i before)-wish i could have helped him more.

workin' on another art guitar-playing card suits-i painted the king on the top and the quenn on the back(they both cover the entire face of the guitar)i will be putting the jack on the back of the headstock and the ace of spades on the face of the headstock.i'll put pics up soon.

funny,i mainly talk about these damn guitars-guess they're my life-well,last night i drank some beers and watched a movie-WOO HOO!!now ain't that all excitin'
