Apparently, I wrote the mastectomy blog a little too soon. All of the information wasn't in when I wrote it.
She gets to keep 'em, at least for now. It is a carcinoma, and it is growing quickly, but it's been caught early, and the doctors want to do a _lumpectomy_, not a mastectomy. And, they want to do it before xmas. It's an out-patient procedure. I dunno all of the details yet, but I do know, she'll be in and out and she can recover at home. Yay!
