I've been sick for the last week.
Started with a sore throat, which I chased away by gargling with Listerine, twice a day, for two days.
I've had a constant low grade fever, the highest it went was 102 F. All of my joints are still a bit achy, even in my hands (!) . And mild chills off and on _and_ a deep chest cough.
I talked to one of my Significant Others by phone. She's an RN and she said, "You sound terrible. Call your doctor for an appointment."
What's weird is that, as soon as I agreed to do so, I felt, like, a little switch in my gut click on, and I immediately began to feel better. I'm still sick, but not as bad as last week. I'm glad that's over. I should be in good shape by next week.
That's it for today.

I was out from work for 2 months, or nearly so. I'm better and stronger everyday now. My feet are still somewhat numb. My hands feel numb when they get cold, but I'll be alright. It'll take up to two years to fully recover from this. Damn, my own body turned against me. It's a trip.
My car's been fine, even in this col-l-l-ld weather. Time for an oil change, tho.
I'm looking forward to warm weather and sunbathing at the beach. You?
