ok, i know that i keep saying this, but this will probably be my last blog for a while. a few of us, my fellow soldiers and i, went to this bulding that has internet, so i am able to write a quick blog. i wish that i had more time to write everyone individually, but that is not tha case.
life in the tents sucks. it is hot as hell and the sand from outside covers us when we sleep. i work nights, and this means that i sleep during the day... no duh, right. anyways... the a/c went out in the tent that i sleep in and the 120 weather outside made it god knows how hot in the tents. within 5 min of the power going out and the a/c truning off, everyone in the tent was dripping with sweat. we all had to go sit outside to cool off. did you hear that. we had to go out in the 120 weather to cool off. let me tell you. iraq is a god forsaken place. it should be wiped off the face of the earth.
on a lighter note. some of my replacements have arrived, so that is a good sign that we are getting out of here soon. i figure about 30 more days in this hell hole. then it is back to a nice 70 day back in germany. i can't wait.
