Im a huge football fan....and that also leaves little room for other sports. Although, with baseball there are what 3 games a week? Football is only one, so maybe there is other time, just no room in my heart.

Next tattoo is a Steelers tattoo and im psyched.

now take everything you just said about men being honest about everything and flip it around to apply to women. there are a few things i can guarantee you.

1. no man would ever get naked in front of a woman with the lights on

2. take away women faking orgasms, maybe men would have a bit more of a clue what the are doing

3. you would know the answers:

i have cried twice when i found out a famous person died. one was elliot smith. the other, was hunter. i love that man. i love reading his books, articles, or anything about him. i cried when he died, and laughed when i heard how he wants his ashes blasted from a canon. he was a genius. an original.

hope you arent as angry now. anger is bad. but happens so easily.

well, if one of the 5 things you cant live without is weed, its pretty safe to assume that youre stoned. and yes, i am feeling better. thanks for asking. its just easier for me to write in pain. its unfortunate cause thats all i seem to have documented anywhere. someday when im gone, whoever finds and reads my journals, well, they are gonna think i was the most miserable person. but the happy times get pictures, so that evens it out.

see, that's just it. nothing about what you're describing is "human culture." go to other parts of the world and you'll find that "traditions" don't even remotely resemble the "masculine" ideals that you've described. in order for something to be "human culture" it's got to be recognized in every culture around the world, otherwise it's just a cultural construct.

so what you really want out of the world is for people to revert to (or maintain) an old cultural tradition. but, in reality, the culture you live in is a fluid thing that's going to keep morphing and changing. gender roles being a huge part of it all.

if you want to keep those traditions in the world, the only thing you can do to make it happen is to embody them yourself. you can't (or expect to) change anyone else. you'll only end up frustrated, which, i believe, is where you're at now. you can certainly keep your traditions, and pass them down thru your lineage. it's the only way they'll survive, really.
