I'm in a weird place right now. Mentally, not physically, although it would be funny if I now went on to tell you about how I'm sitting in an abandoned mental institution with my computer, a peanut butter sandwich and a pitcher of cherry kool-aid.
This past week...
I spent days in anticipation.
I drove to Edmonton to visit some friends. I sing really loud when I'm the only one in the car.
I observed a choir practice. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I went to karaoke. Next time I'll sing, too.
I had my head rubbed by numerous people. *purr*
I had a ludicrously wonderful lazy day.
I drove back home. carla made me some great mixed cd's that lasted exactly as long as the drive.

The rest of the week involved working and watching hockey. Oh, and my brain will not turn off. Not even for a moment. I'm exhausted.
Tomorrow is a full day of tech for the show I'm doing the lights for. I won't get enough sleep before then.
So thoughtful.
Edit: 2 A.M. Stupid brain.

Is there *any* chance that the road to Banff will be free of ice on the Saturday we're there? I would think that HolaGatita would want to see the Canadian Rockies if she could.
I've been considering a summer visit to Edmonton. Should I go?
