Guys n Gals! I need your generous help!
In less than a month, I will be heading to Ecuador to volunteer in Quito for a whole month. I'm going with some friends as part of a group called Help Learn Discover, and while we are there we are going to be working on a "project" (fixing up an orphanage; outfitting a school with new supplies, etc).
Ecuador is a country where 65% of the population lives in poverty and almost half of all children under the age of 5 are malnourished. Many of the impoverished live in horrible conditions in slums (PDF here has some crazy pics).
Right now we are fundraising so that we can follow through with our project to the fullest of our abilities - this money is the only funding we will receive to use towards our project. (All of us are paying our way for this trip entirely, as well!) We are having local events and raffles and such around town but since most of you don't live near me, I have set up a Paypal account that you can send donations to. If you can give anything it would really help us out! Please refer this to as many friends as you can!!!
