So, I've been on the site for about a couple of years I believe, but I am very irregular in my posting and such. Due to that, I am gonna post an actual introduction of myself for all you in the SG World.
So hi, my name is Jeff the extrovertive (pretty sure not a word but woo fake grammer) introvert. I say that because in social interactions, at work, anything like that I can be all smiles and talkative, and usually be the comedian to get people light hearted especially if I sense they are having a bad day. Though this is a clever facade years in the making, I was a super shy child, and always the awkward kid in high school until I moved and had that chance to re-invent myself so to speak. In reality not so much a reinvention more-so a chance to start fresh and shed the years of social ousting that was built up in my original hometown (I was the classic skinny, lanky, smart that it made people mad, nerd and got the stereotypical treatment for it). Long story short, I forced myself to talk more, made a new group of friends, and kinda came into my own. That increased over the years, and now I feel like it was the best thing I could have done.... Now I am still an introvert because that kind of conversation took years of practice to get to, and it still doesn't come quite natural, and even this is incredibly difficult for me. I think I had my hands on the keyboard for about 5 minutes before I finally decided where to start.
So, as it stands in the past I have said I will try to write a more regular blog etc. etc. and I never did, which the previous paragraph may be some indication as to why. Now I have a story to tell, and I hope that this will motivate me to do more. My life is just a series of stories, which really I believe every life is. It's all a matter of presentation, and how you perceive your own history. I think I will write more, and if it seems like anyone is reading this any enjoying it I'll keep going as much as I can before I have to make new stories with my life.
