My Recipe for Sweet Tea: 1. Pick fresh mint and wash (my mint is too close to bird feeder); 2. boil about 1 quart of water and get out 3 or 4 Tetley teabags; 3. Right as it comes to a boil, throw in the tea bags and turn off heat (childhood memory of burning the paper labels on the teabags, with much commotion); 4. throw in a big handful of the mint; while the tea is brewing...
5. put lots of sugar (half cup?) in the bottom of tea pitcher; 6. Giving the tea about 5 minutes to steep, pour tea in pitcher (leave tea bags out and most mint, it is ok if a few mint leaves get in); 7. Now, IN A TALL TEA GLASS, put in as much crushed ice as the glass holds; 8. pour tea over crushed ice; 9. squeeze in fresh lemon (a big eighth of lemon, not dainty slices); 10. stir, with TALL ICED TEA SPOON (need to buy me some of these on e-bay).
Sip the tea, let the memories float up, and enjoy this COOL heaven

Awesome! We never make tea because we don't ever know how much sugar to use. I'll have to try this. Thank you
