two things:
i went and saw howard dean speak monday night.
previously, the largest crowd for a presidential candidate outside of his home state was 1,500.
there were 3,200 there monday night. in TEXAS, the home state of the current president and the incumbent. that is unfuckingprecedented.
and he was AMAZING and it brought tears to my eyes and although i was previously skeptical that he could be the democratic nominee, no matter how much i wanted it, it could really happen. i mean, clinton won by a landslide in 92, and 18 months before the election, no one even knew his name. dean is already garnering this much support and it's got me ALL RILED UP! WHOO HOO!
next:
i couldn't afford tickets to see the flaming lips tonight and was pretty bummed by it because lots of my friends are going and i've never seen them play. and then the greatest living writer, neal pollack emailed me and asked if i would be his date because his wife is injured and can't go! YAY FLAMING LIPS!
yay!

ahhhhhh
As for Neil Pollack, he seems pretty cool. The part in his blog about Michael Savage is bang-on. I've talked to the admins of michaelsavagesucks and I'm all for their cause. He's truly an evil, evil man.
Yay on the Flaming Lips. Hope the show was good.
