Yesterday I cruised around the gorgeous California Wine Country tasting vino and eating like a queen.

If you have some cash to invest in some Futures Vintages, I highly recommend Pia. Try the Wolf.

what's the wolf? as in "wolf vineyard"? I don't see that listed on the site. i've always wanted to buy futures, but never had the money (or organization) to pull it off.
joanna_l:
The Wolf was a Pina sample I liked a lot. Perhaps it was only available at the winery and not on the website... They had it for sale on the form.

I also did not have the money to order it. frown

I saw a sweet little film this weekend called Goal!.

It has sports, it has romance, it has drama, it has a cameo by David Beckham and it takes place on two continents.

Plus the star, "Santiago", is adorable.

This is the Celeb Worship group that Alyk and lilyk run/ran. It's private, so Alyk will have to let you in, but if you drop her a note in her journal after you apply I'm sure she'll let you in soon.

Highly recommend it.

My classic album pick of the day goes to New Order's Technique.

It still sounds as fresh as it did in '89. Every song is flawless, but Round & Round and Dream Attack especially make me yearn for the past.

Nothing else to report at this time.

It was a classic from the moment it was released. Think of it like that. smile

Sigh. Was that really how you meant the original comment? Time flies...

joanna_l:
Yeah, I guess it was. '89 doesn't seem that long ago to me...

The Clips took it to game 7 (mighty impressive) but Steve Trash and the Suns were victorious. Blame Canada!

At least I can have a normal life once again and enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend outside in the fresh air instead of in front of the TV. Ahhh.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday at the Clippers-Suns playoff game at the awesome Staples Center in LA.

My friend got comped seats via the NBA-- let's just say I was too close to the court for my binoculars to be effective. I would love to see the Clips advance to the Western Conference Finals. Elton Brand rocks. Life is good this birthday.

love
