the more I go to NYC and float freely around the city the more I see myself living there. but then fuck NYC a lot (first Guiliani and now Bloomberg) -- it's paradoxically the most fun city and the least fun city.

example: all night being told where on the sidewalk I could stand to smoke a cigarette or just hang out.

I heard they lifted the caberet laws 3 days ago, or something. I dunno. Best place to visit for sure, but I only go there for work so....there's always a small perc at the end of it.

amazing time there last night. Deluxe bus up, straight to the gig, ate really good Vietnamese, got a Canoli in Litle Italy, did the show, got asked if I wanted to do a record for El Guapo (from DC, who also played) and then went back to the !!! compound to hear one of them spin an awesome set just for 2 of us on the h*sh. Mmmm....up all night then A-Train to catch the bus home. here I am.

time off coming up. time to pack up my life and become homeless. if you'd like to be on my crash map let me know. I can cook (sorta) or make beats or produce records or do sound or philosophize or whatever...I refuse to pay rent in 04.
