And now your Weekend Update.
It has been a good weekend. I spent Thursday at home with my parents. Dad and I talked about football and the state of the country and the state of pop culture. Mom and I talked about how she cooked the bird and what was in the stuffing. Very quiet, very relaxing, and just what I needed.
Friday I worked an opening shift in the store. We're not in a mall, so Black Friday isn't as busy for us as it could be, but it was just a little too slow. Too many moments with a bunch of us standing around wondering were all the customers were. Saturday was like that too. But I kept busy enough, and at least I wasn't dead tired when I got home at night. I'm sure those days are coming.
I've gotten a lot of compliments for customers on what I suggest when they come looking. I guess I've learned a lot in the couple of months I've been in charge of my department. But even better, a lot of my coworkers have complimented me on what I've done with the department. A couple of folks who've been there a while say they've never seen it look so good. *does a little dance*
I had yesterday off, and spent the day just dosing, surfing the web, and overdosing on television. Today was a quiet day at the store, which means I was able to change out some upcoming displays, but once again, probably not so good for our sales. Tonight I'm catching up on some mail, and watching a little wrestling.
All in all, a good weekend.
Thanks for stopping by and being a friend. Silverwolf signing off.

Thanks for the comment on mine and Wendy's set. And finally a retail worker who is passionate about their job!

Nope not yet. Gotta wait for 'em to quit being so scabby.
