i am too much of a technophobe. i procrastinated for a long time before even trying to upload a profile pic. now that thumbnail pics are included on threads i felt the time had come. it took more time trying to figure it out than i would like to admit. but now that i did it i want to understand just what the hell it was i did!
being a perfectionist sucks. it usually means i don't bother to do something rather than do it half-assed. sometimes, i start a project over and over because i keep finding ways to improve before it is done. this means when i finish something it is usually well above the required standards. if i get around to finishing it. it is a double edged sword. i have been very successful as a line cook because of my high quality standards, but previous bosses have had to weigh that against a slightly lower level of overall productivity.

whoa! i got off on a tangent. i guess my one of my issues boils down to: if it is worth doing, it is worth doing right.

currently, all of that focus is on raising my daughter jordan. thats her w/me in the pic at 15 months. i chose that pic because she was bit in the face by a dog oct. 30th. 10 stitches over 4 punctures. including 1 inside her mouth.

one of these days i fill figure how to put more pics up.
