wow, tonight is the first night in 11 days that i havn't had my daughter. its kind of creepy and quiet. i wish i could have gone out, but the roads are still icy in places. before being a daddy i would not have hesitated. now i need a better reason to risk the roads on a cycle. laying a bike down on a sheet of ice is fun and doesn't scratch it up as much as pavement. but hitting an unexpected patch, going down, then sliding on pavement sucks and those are the conditions right now. maybe tomorrow during the day.

I always helmet up since it's high treason not to in NV. I'm actually kind of glad for the law, although I would vote against it if given the chance. Makes no sense, I know. -I spent a few weeks riding in your wonderful state this summer, I don't recall if I had mentioned that to you or not. I'm jealous that everyone there is so courteous and uses the left lane for passing only. Here, half the drivers immediately get into the far left lane and stay there, regardless of speed. It kinda warms my heart to hear guys thinking responsibly on account of their children. Being a terminal (child-less) batchelor I think I will start dedicating my irresponsible actions to those who have become responsible caretakers. -The next wheelie (as if...) is for you my freind.
