Buenos Fucking Aires!
It was a great show and the band loved the crowd. BA audiences really go crazy! And the band's playing and mixing was some of the best I've heard them do. No tech problems and everything worked (almost) perfectly (that's what we tech people always hope for!) The crowd was giving us "football songs" at the end of the show, and from Argentineans that is high prasie indeed! Some of us are calling it one of the best shows of the whole tour, and hands down the best one in S.A..
The night I got here I was met by Spica, Kythe, Nicoletta and Martina, along with their friends Kami, Juan, Alejandro, and Spica's BF who's name I can't remember - sorry! - who took me out for drinks and conversation. They gave me a gift of a t-shirt that says "Buenos Fucking Aires!" which I wore for the show.
Tonight I'm going to go to Face Tattoo where Juan works and get some new ink -- either a tribal or celtic knot armband I haven't decided yet -- with some small roses in it. Then after that Kythe has condemned me and some of the Daft Punk people who dare to come along with drinking ourselves into fuzzy tongues and sore heads for when we have to fly out of here tomorrow morning at 5am! Hell, why bother to go to sleep?
