I think this is the longest I've gone without updating!! My trip to Corpus was alright. My family was on decent behavior. I got home to San Antonio last Saturday night, expecting our things to be ready to go to Missouri. Except they weren't b/c Josh was stuck at his grandparents house with his sister cuz she locked her keys in the car. So I had to get our shit together. I was so exhausted from my drive and lack of sleep from the previous night (had to share a room with my brother who snores so fucking loud).
The drive to Missouri wasn't bad. We rode up there with Josh's sister in her new GMC Sonoma. So basically, it was three of us crammed in the front of a tiny pickup. I knew I wasn't going to be able to handle that, so I took the cushions off my couch and made a bed in the back of the truck. I layered on the clothes, along with some jackets and a thick ass comforter. I rode from San Antonio to Columbia, MO in the back. It was nice. I got to stretch out and nap most of the way up there. When it got too cold, I threw this huge ass jacket over me and the dog (we snuggled most of the way for more heat) and made a tiny igloo.
I had fun. It was a nice getaway. One of the few I'll be able to get in before the baby is born. I didn't ride in the back on the way home. It rained. So I was fucking miserable. I had to sit in the middle the whole time, being the smallest. I was so glad to get home.
Now I have to clean the house and get lots of shit in order. I'm considering dropping my classes this semester. I just have a lot going on and I'm afraid school is going to drive me over board. We have to move by the end of the month, try to get our bills caught up before the baby is born, and more things that I can't even begin to think about.
BTW, I was denied for food stamps. They said Josh and I made too much.
But I do have medicaid and I need to hurry up and choose my doctor before they do. Alright...back to cleaning.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Tell me what you got!!
