I get my first "dating" ultrasound on Thursday so I can find out exactly how far along I am and to get a better approximate due date. eeee! I'm so excited despite all the crazy things that are going wrong in my life (no car, no money, no phone...most importantly no money though). And I want one of those little mini doppler's so I can hear my baby's heart beat everyday. So when I'm feeling down, I can just search for a life that is totally dependent on my being strong. And that will give me the strength to keep going.
I got scheduled to do cash this weekend. It's not that bad. I just sacrifice more money doing that when I could make a few bucks more an hour as a waitress. I tried to give up that shift to another cashier so I could pick up a serving shift. You know what the manager told that cashier??? "No, Jessica has been giving up too many shifts this week. She needs to work." I didn't realize I had a father at work. And what fucking business of his if I haven't been "working" although I've only been getting scheduled like 20 hours a week? I rarely give up shifts...just those that aren't serving shifts. I've told my managers that I only want to serve and not to schedule me anthing else. I lose out on too much money working in other positions. But that's a hard concept I guess. Assholes. I asked another manager and she was like, "oh sure. Just as long as the shift was covered." Now, why can't everyone be like her??
What did ya'll do for Halloween? I worked and came home to study. My butt fell asleep in the process. Nothing like a numb ass on Halloween. I wish my car worked. I have to take a cab to school tomorrow just to take a thirty minute test. Any idea how far ahead of time I need to call a cab? I've never ridden in one before. Alright, back to studying...I'm such a procrastinator....
