Oh my, oh my.... how the weekend FLIES BY!!!! We have had bunches of rain these past few days here... so I'm really hoping for some sunshine and warmth to come around soon. 
Thinking of such... reminds me of this Ralph Waldo Emerson quote I love:
Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.

OK.... so I'm SUPER DUPER EXCITED because last night, SoBeIt and I had tattoo appointments with EatBullets and both got some fun work done! EatBullets is such an amazing artist and so good to us to let us schedule regular appointments. We go through withdrawls without new ink... and he is so accomodating to keep the ink addiction in check for us and so much fun to hang with!
So.... last night, SoBeIt got two cool Coop images on his arm. One is of the Coop Devil Exterminator with his middle finger up and his big axe behind him - it's so cool! He also got the Coop Erotica girls and they are hot! So check his journal out later - because I'm hoping he will post pix of his great new ink!
And I went in with the tentative plans to work some new Alice characters in around my "Malice" Alice... but I just couldn't decide yet what would look best with my evil little Alice...
(btw, if anyone has images or suggestions.... I would LOVE any ideas you have - you can see Malice Alice (image is influenced from McGee's Alice in my last journal for pix)....
so since the Alice background is still in the works .... low & behold.... I ended up tattooing a Maneki Neko (Japanese Lucky Cat) inside of a Lotus flower on my neck! I was so excited! I had always planned on putting a MN in that spot - but it was so fun because it happened so spontaneously. As you can see from my pix... I was quite excited
We only did the outlines - so I get to enjoy the color work in a few weeks - hooray!!!!
EatBullets designed the image with the cat sitting in the Lotus flower and then there will be blue & yellow rays above the cat in the background. The ray lines are a bit faint right now, just to give him the outline... but you can see the Maneki Neko &flower well in the pix and I'm just SO HAPPY!!
YIPPEEE!!!
I have a bit of a stiff neck this morning -I have to make slow, steady moves without bending - ha ha!
I sure hope everyone is having a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! Enjoy, enjoy before Monday is back again!!
