Life is funny.
I'm going to tell a short story.
I hope someone reads this, because I'm very happy about it.

So... I have a really hot neighbor, who I really like, and it has been reciprocated. We hung for a few weeks. After hanging out, and getting to know her a bit, I tell it to her as plainly as I can. I like her, and I want to have a relationship with her. She said she wasn't ready to be with someone again just yet.

For a while, she didn't talk to me, or come see me, and she said she just has some issues she needed to deal with, and I figured, no big deal, right?

So...

The other day, she calls me. While I'm in the shower. After a short conversation with me in the shower, we say goodbye. The next day, she calls me as I'm waiting for my ex girlfriend to get ready and call me back so we can go to lunch. So, my neighbor comes over, and we hang out while I'm waiting.

An hour passes...

I say fuck it, I've waited long enough, and I ask my neighbor if she wants to go out. She says yes.

We went to coffee, to my piercer, to Pioneer Square, and just hung out in the park blocks, laughing at people. All the while, she has her arm around me, or takes my hand, is rubbing my shoulder, or so on.
When I left her at the front of our building, we hugged, and she kissed me.

Wherever this goes... I'm so giddy right now.

I'm happy.

In other news...
Today was my first day back at work after "The Haloween Incident." So many people came up to me and said, "So, are you feeling better today?" Every time one of them did, all I could do was just shake my head and look down at the floor.
