well another year down..and i gotta say it was a big one for me..and overall good tho
had pretty big tragedy early on which kinda brought me closer to those who counted and gave me the lust for life i have had this year. it also made me realize how lucky i was to have so many good friends now.
bandwise has been great especially for Susect Seven...gigging heaps and gettin good local respect. i am chuffed to say we got #10 and #13 in the 4ZzZ Hot 100 as well for 2007. may not be a big deal to some but to us it means a lot as we have worked hard to get local support. hopefully this and more hard work from us will be the platform for an even better year where we are hoping to put out a full lenghth cd, tour interstate and hopefully a short tour of Japan.
DARTH MOJO have a had a quieter year but still makin progress..musically and in gettin noticed. we have a lot of work to do but we are capable and the plan this year is to get a wailing female frontperson...nuffin like a rock chick in a band at the front. without seeming sexist i often found the covers i did in a band with a female singer always had a slightly different dynamic to play..which i liked. and yeah we are hopin to gig more which i think is sorted and get a realease out...maybe an ep.
and apart form that i have made and strengthened many friendships this year...gotten closer to my family..loved and been loved and have been kinda happy..hehe
SO COME ON 2008..BRING IT ON!!!
