Blush! Wasn't sure how she'd take it. I certainly meant it as the ultimate compliment. You said you got it. Did you get the ebook or the paperback? Amazon or iUniverse? I don't know if I've had any sales other than you, but there's a lot going on at the moment behind the scenes, including a "Hollywood Treatment." Blowin my life savings on promotions (well, not quite). My concept is sort of a Fritz the Cat meets hentai animated film with Miley Cyrus doing the voice overs of Mindu in the sex scenes and maybe Scarlett Johansson doing Linsa and Adam Sandler doing Jim. First copy of Otorongo arrived today. Didn't think it would arrive so soon. Thought it was Thraxas by Martin Millar which I ordered from Amazon last week. so I started to open it -- Whoa! -- saw the spine! It's in there. Sitting on my desk. Unopened still.
Whew! Smudged with palo santo. Florida water. Think I'll roll a joint.
Smoked it.

For some reason they wouldn't use my original design, but this is close enough in the interests of moving the process along. The book takes place in Jim's Third, Fourth and Fifth Chakras -- thus the yellow, green and sky blue. The vertical columns suggest kundalini energy to me. But they also represent the jungle. The white lettering of OTORONGO just seemed obvious to me....
