I felt like shit during my last entry. Things are not any better but I am over a certain amount of rejection. Once again my outside friends pull thru. I would be a hermit and loser without them.
I have been enjoying a wealth of new CD's. Most of them may send alot of you running and screaming to the nearest door. My slight obsession withBasil KIRCHIN was rewarded with a new reissue of his impossible to find Abstractions of the Industrial North LP with extra musical library cues. Let's just call it " Imaginary film music knocked out in 1966" powerful stuff. Another notable collection comes courtesy of Andy Votel and his Delay 68 label. Folk is Not a four letter word has a wonderful collection of songs by Brigitte Fontaine, Linda Pharacs, The Poppy Familly , Bonnie and Wendy, plus many other acts from the late 60's and early 70's. It's great to know that a genre of music I had ignored and not taken to serious sounds refreshing and rejuvenating in a very sour contemporary world
