seems like it's been ages since i've written a proper journal entry, in reality its only been maybe a week or so..lol.. been so busy lately, though i'd probably be complaining just as much if i wasnt busy..

anyways, here's what's been happening.. trip to Melbourne for 10 days, got tattooed, drank some beers, worked a lot, caught up with some mates, watched some footy, got given shit for smoking pot in my hotel room, drank copious amounts of coffee, and did some shopping.. had the heaviest bags ever that i've travelled with, i bought books..

this lot weighed the best part of 20kgs!! on top of that i bought some "educational" books on photoshop and something else i cant remember..lol..

after Melbourne, i went to Cairns for my best mates wedding.. got up there last thursday and bummed around the place doing best man type duties, drinking beer, eating fantastic food, etc.. the weather was pretty well perfect the whole time, was very hard to come back to 15 degrees after a tropical week of 26's..

wedding went well, i didnt fuck up either, though i did nearly lose the rings!!!!! heart attack material there.. fucking stupid mates playing a trick on me, could of killed somebody.. anyways, i've never smiled that much in one day, shit maybe even in a year...lol.. there were so many photos taken, we had like about 5-6 hours with a photographer either following us around or directing us.. "big smile, tilt your chin up" etc.. seriously i had sore cheeks by the end of the day.. had a fairly decent hangover the day after the wedding, though wasnt bad enough to stop me having a few beers late in the arvo..

flew back home yesterday, slept in my own bed for the first time in like 3 weeks or something, was fucking fantastic.. bit of a quiet week this week, gonna be around newcastle and the office all week for a change..

just about to go check out a townhouse in newcastle, and if its cool i'm putting in a rental application straight away.. so hopefully this weekend i'm gonna be moving.. i cant wait!!

anyways, thats a pretty hefty update for now.. i'll let you know how i go with the townhouse this arvo..

fuckin real estate agents.. grrrrrr..

ok, so i had a 2pm appointment, come 2:15 i'm sitting outside the townhouse on my phone talking to a girl who says no one is coming because the townhouse hasnt been completed and wont be for another 2 weeks, which is when i'm gonna be in perth, and that i cant look at it till then.. grrrr.. fuckkkerss..

so seeing as she didnt ring me to let me know the appointment had been cancelled i ask to speak to her manager..

so i talked to her boss, and he's gonna come show me the place tomorrow and has said he can get it all sorted out and approve the application so i can get the place though i just cant move in till its completed and signed off..

when all else fails ask to speak to the boss.. if you're lucky they may actually be intelligent and know what's going on.. if you're lucky..
