Holy crap my bag is heavy, so heavy that it ripped the main zip out when I tried to close it....doh.. Raced down to Myer in Bourke St and picked up a new suitcase and went back to the hotel, loaded it all up, checked out of the hotel, jumped in a taxi, drove to the airport, checked in for my flight, weighed my bag 24.2kg..haha.. My bag didnt even weight that much when I went to Switzerland.. Fortunately I'm a Qantas CLub member so they allowed the extra but I think I got lucky cause they didnt weigh my camera bag which would've probably added another 7-8kg..

Ahh the joys of buying new camera gear, almost seems that a journal doesnt pass by without me talking about some new camera shit I've bought.. So what did I buy?

Canon 1D mkIIn x 2
Canon 350D x 1

This is on top of the gear I was already carrying, 5 lenses, 2 flash, light meter, Canon 1DsmkII and assorted cleaning accessories, flash cards, etc..

Gotta hitup ebay big time this weekend so I can sell off my 1DsmkII, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 and some other older camera gear that I dont use anymore..

Got a semi busy weekend ahead.. Dinner and movies tonight with my girl, photo editing tomorrow morning (after walking the dog), gf's netball grand final tomorrow afternoon, a bunch of friends coming over tomorrow night for a BBQ.. Sunday morning hangover, washing and assorted house cleaning stuff, ummmmmmm I'm sure I'm forgetting something else on Sunday.....meh..

Anyways I better get back to doing some work so I can justify work paying for my internet access at the airport..
