Finally updating!
Well I'm in Vegas, for the first time... and I love it. Its fun, and walking down Fremont Street was killer. I gambled a little, and on my first run of $5 I actually won $200 on the penny monopoly machine. So I have been treating myself out to some good food with that money, and gambled here and there... Of course I "Always" have beginner's luck, so ever since that big win I seem to barely get anything... I blame the cocktail lady though. Every time she walks by shouting out "Cocktails!" in that annoying tone, my mojo goes away and my earning fall as well... lamerz. But ah well, Its been fun just the same
I'm still writing up the background, gameplay, and such for the next project I'm working on. I'm glad I'm spending the time to write this all down first, because its allowing me to fix issues with the gameplay and story. Sad thing is, I once again only have 10mb to work with and thats not enough for even a quarter of the game... So I have to condense it down... again... lamerz. Good thing is, I can release things faster this way.
Recently I have discovered something... I'm depressed. At first I could never figure out why, but now I know. I need to find myself a girlfriend. I want to go out and have a good time, and this week has shown me what I have been missing out on. Walking the streets at night with all the lights on the strip, meeting people, etc... It has been so much fun! And it would be far more fun to share this experience with someone, other then family. So, thats a goal of mine that needs to be accomplished within the next year.
Gettin ready for next semester, and it is the last... thank God! My Associate degree could not come any faster... it has taken far too long, and now after 3 years its mine. Thankfully I have made a name for myself in the school, and now the Dean has been personally handling the issues I have experienced (Required classes rarely make it into session, financial aid keeps shifting, I could mae a large list...). Either way... it will all be over with... Now its just the hardest part, marketing myself as a designer/artist. Flash seems to remain on a knife's edge, as far as web site development goes, an thats where my expertise is... time to get back into experimenting with other adobe products, and HTML 5.... Takes a lot of time, but its necessary to find myself or maintain a job... That and having all that knowledge can help me create some "REALLY" cool sites, kinda exciting in a way. I love design, I love art, I love music... Life is good.
