The romantic movies that make me lose sleep and make my pulse race..
I sigh just watching Audrey Hepburn and it makes me wish the monologues had been longer so I could listen to her talk for hours, I love seeing the study of the social construct through the years and the change we have had in the culture of cinema. I'm not just talking about classics, I'm talking about movies that stay in your mind and mark an era with a scene, a song or a phrase.
I can still hear the Shrek soundtrack in my mind just naming it and those songs always existed! but they became bigger when they mark a generation.
Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars made many people use an orchestra song as a ringtone.
I hate leaving the cinema nowadays and after 3 hours my brain sends everything to the trashcan, starting with the title, which makes me especially uncomfortable when I go back to see a movie and only realize that I had already seen it after half an hour 😅
I declare myself a Disney girl, I love the magic of security that Disney gives you knowing that in the end everything will turn out with a happy ending, that helps my anxiety 😂 no matter how bad everything goes and how many parents have died in one Disney movie everything will be fine and with a fabulous song in the background 😂
I LOVE bad movies, I can spend a whole day watching Hallmark movies too hahaha I can watch the entire Sharknado saga being happy, I love the idea of finding brilliant ideas buried under a low budget, I can understand many ideas of some producers that they really don't care if the people like the movie or not, they want to explain an idea, a dream, a believe, or how they see the world been high ❤️
And I'm not goin to mention Christmas movies, don't make me Start talking about Christmas movies 😂
anyway.
I can talk about this for hours.
Whoever it is, I'll buy you a coffee and let's talk about movies...
This is the end of another countdown episode of the pre birthday saga
xoxo

I'm a huge movie nerd. Especially horror and Italian cinema. I have a ridiculous collection of DVDs, Blurays, memorabilia, and have a horror movie themed bar room in my house. I actually write about and review films for a magazine and a couple of websites. I've written and directed two short films, one of which got a lot of festival play, and I've acted in 3 feature films.
