My friend Lisa organizes a life drawing gathering once in a while to earn a lil money. She does it mostly because she enjoys modeling for artists. Anyway, I arrived early at the meeting space to help her set up. The place is a restaurant and it seems nice. However the owner is not there yet and we could not get in. The session starts at 10 am and and it's already 9:45 AM. Anyway, inside the building the door to the restaurant was unlocked so Lisa opened it and tripped the alarm. 20 minutes later a cop showed up. 20 minutes??? I could have bulglarized that place already. Meanwhile, the owner is still not there and we tried to contact him and Lisa even drove to his place to knock at his door. Meanwhile, other people are starting to arrive. The cop understood and believed our story and left. 20 minutes later, the owner is still not there and one of the "guest" went into the restaurant again to used the bathroom and tripped the alarm a second time. This time a younger cop came by with something to prove. We are already packing up at this time and people are starting to leave. I stayed so I can be there for a friend. The cop started lecturing us and taking down our names. It actually kinda funny - his uniform is too tight for him and I was thinking of ways to beat him up. He was bigger but I think I can take him
I was assesing the situation and then I heard him phone in my name to headquarters. I was thinking we will get arrested for breaking and entering except we did not break anything. Well they went in the restaurant to "clear" it. That is cop speak for making sure there are no one inside. At this point, the owner finally arrived 2 hours or so late saying sorry and shit like that. What an ass. Well I guess he explained the stuations to the cops and the young cop came out and lectured us some more about breaking and entering. He really needed to prove something I am thinking.. or his pants are just too tight and he was not a happy camper. Anyway, the situation was cleared up but Lisa is out by $100. Oh well.

Those pictures are wonderful. It would be so difficult to shoot on the stage. There are security everywhere and at all times.
