Labor Day...why is is called that anyway? I mean, I'm not laboring today (no more than getting out of bed). I realize it is to celebrate our social and economic achievements as Americans but why Labor Day. I propose we change it to antiLabor Day...at least it will be semantically correct!

Updates, yay for Updates!

Actually, just wanted to clear my journal space...

Well, I'm back from rainy Florida and I'm engaged. Quite exciting, rather overwhelming, and now, quite poor! It was all worth it, though, as I think Jess it great!

The vacation was fun too. We did Disney with Jess' daughter on Monday, Epcot on Wednesday and a day trip into the Everglades on Thursday. The rest of the time was on the beach at Fort...

Went to a pretty cool party last weekend at lioness4's...bit o' drinkin, bit o' chillin...all in all, a good day.

I'm gettin' excited about the weekend already. I'm headin' to Fort Myers Beach on Saturday for a full 8 days. Should be fun.

Well, my back is better. Thank goodness for pain killers! My doc helped out quite a bit too. Nothin' like missing almost a week of class, at the end of the semester, and work to throw off a perfectly good month!

I've been listening to this band, Crisis. They are amazing. If you're into the whole "kill your family" scene, this is a band worth watching.

Sorry for anyone that has been aware of this band for some time, I'm stuck in BFE Illinois... we don't get much exposure to good metal bands.
