Today’s blog post is brought to you by the colour blue…
Perhaps there’s something in the water.
Actually, there definitely is something in the water. Water, in one form or another, features quite prominently in the three SG sets I’ve selected for your perusal this afternoon.
Let’s start with @Abyss. Apparently if you stare into her, she’ll eventually stare into you. You can sign me up for that sub-Nietzschean experience, personally. This Abyss has a gaze as cool and deep as the Mariana Trench. A mystery it is then how it manages to make me feel so damned… warm. Heaven Is A Place On Earth, shot by @bretema, dropped a paltry fifteen hours ago and, during the course of its 48 images, it presents the blue-haired beauty in the bright, homely surroundings of a bathroom where Abyss takes a shower. This quotidian, banal experience is transformed, by virtue of Bretema’s skill with the camera and her subject’s remarkably radiant good looks, into the kind of delicately erotic encounter that is the stuff of the universal subconscious. Probably. It’s certainly wormed its way into my brain, at any rate.
Abyss’ gaze is serene, tinged with the merest hint of invitation. Those first few pics set the tone perfectly – a slow revealing of the shoulder (my inner Victorian is all a-dither at this point), over which Abyss glances at the camera as if, for a moment, wondering what it’s doing there but deciding its presence is perfectly fine, after all. When the beautiful, delicately-patterned robe falls, however, a revelation! Abyss’ rear is full and perfectly formed, curves singularly designed to elicit quickened pulses, rushes of blood, and gasps of awe. What a body this girl has!
And the rest of the set displays it to perfection, each shot crafted to highlight her physical perfection. From the tattooed rose on her ankle to her full, inviting breasts to her delicate toes, each part of the whole has its moment in the spotlight, as if to affirm that, yes, this girl is the complete package – an unalloyed vision of loveliness and sensuality. It is a magnificent set and, if you have not already done so, I recommend – nay, urge – you to check it out!
I need to lie down…
But, I can’t! Because next up is…
@mimo, whose set, Papillon Bleu, shot by @chinaski pulses with life, vitality and an understated but nevertheless clearly identifiable sense of mischief. Mischief? Well, yes, what else would you call our blue-pigtailed girl’s decision to take an ice cool glass of orange juice outside on the deck, and then melt ice cubes over her flawless, voluptuous body?
You could, I suppose, argue that Mimo’s dressing down for the opening few pics. She’s comfortable in top, vest and leggings. And why not? The get-up exudes intimacy and being perfectly at home in one’s skin. And, as it’s her skin that she starts to reveal, I’m not going to complain. What’s truly remarkable, though, is how photogenic Mimo is. She owns the lens, flirting with it, slyly smiling one moment, staring guilelessly – almost innocently (but, surely not, when she’s holding that melting ice cube over her bare chest!) – the next. In the process, she enchants, she bewitches, she beguiles until, when she starts to walk away and the camera lingers on her bare back and bottom, you find yourself longing for her return.
“Come back, Mimo! Come back!”
Ah, well, there’s always Chinaski’s beautiful images. And the fading patches of damp where those ice cubes (and how we envy them, those cold-kissing shards of self-annihilating intimacy!) once were.
I need to catch my breath…
But, I can’t! Because @vexli, her exquisite features framed by locks of tousled turquoise, is gently but insistently reminding me that she, too, is perfect and lovely and wonderful.
Her latest set, Blue Haze, shot by @Zen, is, like Abyss’, a shower set. Vexli, however, wears a beautiful, richly blue lingerie set that looks magnificent on her. As might be expected, Vexli doesn’t keep it on for long, but its contrast with her paleness is worth noting.
Vexli’s blue eyes are richly beautiful, her body curvy and adorned with intricate artwork on arm and thigh. Throughout the set, she exudes a sophisticated elegance that in someone else might be cold and arrogant, but here is never anything other than welcoming and warm. Her posing is flawless; ditto Zen’s camerawork. Seeing her gaze out of the screen at you makes the breath catch in your throat. I can’t help feel that I am in the presence of class and grace. It is a humbling but oddly rewarding experience.
And it is in that attitude of humility that I suggest you check her set out. You will not regret it.
Three girls, three photographers, three shades of blue.
Blue is often portrayed as a cold colour, but it is impossible to agree with that association here. Here there is warmth, playfulness, creativity and simmering passion. Each of these three sets is excellent in its own right and, taken together, they provide an excellent example of the beauty, artistry and wonder that I have always associated with this site.
Enjoy!
