At some point, I'm going to return to blogging round-up posts of Hopeful and SG sets. Life has been a bit busy over the last twelve months (I know, I know, we've all been locked down, but I've become a grandfather again - twice! - in that time and life apparently keeps on chugging on even in the middle of a global pandemic), so I fear I've fallen out of the habit. Consider this an attempt at getting my mojo back... :)
Today's hopeful to keep an eye on is @dixi, whose debut set, Early Blue, came out a few days ago. Shot by the ever-talented @milloux, it features the aforementioned Dixi in a very striking black and gold outfit which she removes in the customary manner. So far, so normal, I suppose, but...
This girl is special. She's beautiful, possessing extraordinarily pretty features, a full figure and the kind of piercing blue eyes that make the heart quiver, the knees tremble and a general sense of discombobulation appear in the mind and heart of your humble blogger. Put bluntly, she's simply gorgeous and, I think, a star in the making.
Special mention should be made of the photography, which is characteristically excellent. There's a mirror in the room which Milloux uses to good effect a couple of times. She doesn't overuse it and, as a result, when it does appear, the effect is rather powerful. Long-time readers of my ramblings will know that I'm a big fan of natural light and it's here, combining with some lace curtains to produce something like a halo effect around Dixi. Not that her exalted status needs emphasizing, particularly. She is, quite clearly, more than a little touched by the divine and her freshness, vitality and beauty are spectacularly self-evident from first pic to last.
Plus, freckles! Gotta love freckles... :)
