Schools in the UK close Friday afternoon. Except not quite. They'll remain open for the children of 'key workers' (a definitive list of which has yet to be produced, although the contents of the list are not difficult to imagine) and vulnerable children with either assigned social workers or EHCPs. This seems sensible enough, but the devil will be in the details. With today being my day off (I went part-time in September), I unfortunately missed the staff training on how to use Google Classroom but it seems fairly straightforward. It's the uncertainty that is stressful. We human beings do like our little routines and they've been royally upended over the last few weeks. Still, at least we finally found some pasta and rice today, so it's not all bad. Stay safe and well, my SG friends. I'm thinking of you, wherever you are. Much love to you and yours. xxx
