The last week or so has seen a ridiculous amount of excellent hopeful sets drop. Here are a few of my personal favourites…

@Okkatana has a distinctive look and, if her new set Unexpected Set is anything to go by, a highly-developed sense of fun. Shot by @orangette, the set features the flame-haired temptress attacking one of those twirly candies on a stick that always managed to get the better of me as a kid, before putting it to one side and taking her clothes off. As is so often the case, it’s the natural light that makes the difference here. Okkatana is a very beautiful woman and the play of light and shadow across her body makes this set really stand out. The sunlight caresses her curves sensuously and enticingly, and the set ends with a number of shots that are powerfully erotic and a million miles away from the playfulness at its start. It is well worth a look.

Next up is @lliri and her new set Lady of the Lake. As its name suggests, this is an outdoor set and Lliri and her photographer Antoni Sans make the most of the creative opportunities the setting affords. Lliri possesses a delicate, almost fey beauty and, dressed in a thin white dress that quickly becomes semi-transparent in the water, she exudes a powerful sense of ethereal grace mixed with subtle tones of earthier sensuality. There are a range of shots and expressions here – from coy smiles to intense gazes to demure glances down or away – and the sense of intimacy in some of the shots is very strong. This is a lovely set – light and delicate, but with an underlying hint of passion and mystery that makes the whole thing utterly enchanting. Fantastic work!

Back in the day, there was an anime-themed rpg called Big Eyes, Small Mouth. If ever there was a hopeful who would be perfect as a poster girl for that game, it’s @spicedsoychai whose set Pocketful Of Posies features the pink-haired beauty in a garden set that highlights just how astonishingly beautiful she is. It is extraordinarily difficult to look away from those deep, richly sensual and gorgeously wide eyes, although I’ve got to admit I didn’t try all that hard. I mean, really, why would you? Spicedsoychai is a bit of an anime buff herself, if her artwork is anything to go by. In typical SG style, the cutesie tats and gorgeous cerise hair contrast rather nicely with the heavy duty boots our girl is wearing and I’m happy to say that photographer @leemalee makes the most of that contrast, the boots staying on for a good long while. Really, this is an absolute gem of a set. Spicedsoychai possesses an undeniable beauty and Leemalee captures and frames it perfectly. Enjoy!

That man @tripodski has done it again. He’s one of my favourite photographers and Butter Wouldn’t Melt… featuring the incredibly beautiful @sophiablake1 is a great example why. The set is aptly named. Sophia starts out in a crisp white shirt and plaid skirt and is the very image of the virginal good girl. That image is promptly belied, however, by her quick removal of her clothing to reveal… well, what can I say? In terms of posing, this girl is a natural. In terms of her body, she is simply stunning, possessing the kind of fresh, appealing good looks that sets the heart quivering and the pulse quickening. And her smile… oh my, her smile! A smile from Sophia is enough to assure even the most pessimistic of us that there is truth and good and beauty in this world if only we know where to look for it. (And this site – and this set in particular - is as good a place to start as any and a good sight better than most!) A great set. Well worth a look!

Every so often a girl comes along who grabs you by the heartstrings and refuses to let go. @alanya is one such girl. Her debut set Red Hot came out a couple of days ago; if anything, the title is a modest understatement. The set is positively incandescent. I’ve already mentioned eyes quite a bit in this post; I hope you’ll forgive me for bringing up the subject again. Alanya’s hazel eyes are simply exquisite and her gaze draws you into the set effortlessly. Her posing on the bed is graceful, warm, and inviting. Her art is exquisite and forms a thoroughly appealing contrast to the paleness of her hair and skin, and the white of the bed covers. Photographer @andrealuz has done a phenomenal job with the set. Alanya is a warm, vibrant presence in every shot, and the tone is sensuous and welcoming throughout. It’s a classic – and classy – bedroom set and it is absolutely deserving of your attention.
