This post is going to be a bit more in-depth than my usual round-up posts. Partly because I've got the time to be more in-depth, but mostly because there are certain sets that positively demand you linger over them, savour them and, once the initial impact fades a little, try and work out exactly why they work so well. So, here we go...
First up is @haub and her reverse strip set How Sparkle Bitches Are Born, a title which, in itself, hints rather nicely at the set's intoxicating mix of sexiness and devil-may-care attitude. Haub starts off in the shower and the first shot (seen below) is a close up of her exquisitely sculpted features, dripping and mostly devoid of make up. In many respects, it's actually quite a remarkable image. Without wanting to be too undergrad about it, I'd suggest that it forces us to focus on Haub as a person rather than (just) an objectified pin-up. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you.) It's a bold move and strips the model down to her (bare) essentials. No beautifully-styled hair, no make-up, no focus on the body, no enticing lingerie - just Haub, beautiful and unadulterated, staring up at the camera with a beguiling mix of uncertainty and defiance in her expression.
Showers are, apparently, a lot of fun for Haub. (She certainly seems to be having more fun here than I ever have.) There's a lot to like here and the dynamism and unpredictability of these shots is worth mentioning. There's a boobs-mashed up against the shower door shot, lots of grinning, lots of fun. It's very easy to get swept up in it all. There is life here. Again, Haub is inviting us to see her as a person rather than an object. It's consequently extremely appealing. And that smile...
Come on! This girl is a babe! And, yes, she knows it, but she's not all uppity about it. She's having a blast and she doesn't mind at all if we have one too!
This is probably my favourite shot of the entire set. And special mention must go to photographer @thimeow for capturing this awesome expression of joie de vivre so perfectly. Again, the smile is there, but the closed eyes make this a very personal, private moment. Sure, on one level, this whole set is for our benefit, but, on another, there's a clear sense that the pleasure is Haub's alone and we just get to observe it. It's one of the most iconic shots of any SG I've ever seen. Magnificent stuff!
And Haub scrubs up very well, it turns out. Normally, after a shower, I tend just to get dressed. Haub gets all intimate with rugs, apparently - and who am I to cast aspersions? This is my second favourite shot. This girl is just too beautiful for words. It's in the eyes, the gentle smile, the way the hair falls away from her face...
The set ends with Haub clothed - and very stylishly too - and ready for a night on the town with the girls. And you know she's going to have tons of fun. But I'm very grateful for the insight into her personality this set affords. I'm grateful for the fun, the confidence, the sheer joy of this wonderful set. Bravo, beautiful lady! Bravo!

Next up is a set that only dropped yesterday, but has already grabbed me and refuses to let me go. @wonka is a goddess; her photographer, @natalia_randle is a genius of the lens. The set Chat Noir is simply perfection. Are cat ears a bit gimmicky? Well, yes, but when you're as stone cold sexy as Wonka is, gimmicks transcend their gimmickiness and become something magical and downright sexy.
Wonka is one of a number of Russian SGs who embody the kind of raw sensuality that sends pulses racing, pupils dilating and various parts of the anatomy acquiring a certain amount of mass and... ahem... solidity. The expression is pure sex kitten - full lips, searingly beautiful gaze, the slender strand of artfully arranged hair falling over one eye.
When we get to this pic, though, we've entered the realms of some sort of erotic nirvana. This look is so sexy that I'm tempted to just end the blog right here. But, there's more...
There should be a law against this sort of thing, really. Wonka is more sexy than anyone has a right to be and Natalia_Randle's use of sunlight to highlight her hair and fall on her shoulder just gives the shot an extra bit of warmth that makes it, well, perfect.
And then there's...
This, too, is perfect.
I mentioned earlier that @Natalia_Randle is a genius and I really think she is. Obviously, it helps when you've got a model as gloriously beautiful as Wonka, but every shot of this set is composed and lit beautifully to present her in as stunning and sensual a way as possible and, dammit, it's so so good. And I haven't even mentioned the shots of Wonka licking herself... Look, just check out the set. You won't regret it!

Who is @valkyria? Now, I've been following her for a while and I thought I knew. She's a raven-haired, extraordinarily beautiful woman from Argentina who likes heavy metal and cites Lacuna Coil's Christina Scabbia as one of her favourite singers and influences. But, I was wrong. Well, not entirely wrong. She is all those things, but, apparently, she's also a walking, smouldering, gloriously-tattooed avatar of lust and desire and, oh Lord, her latest set Aquarius is the hottest thing I've seen in ages.
Shot with extraordinary skill by @kasha, the set hits the ground running with a series of shots establishing Valkyria in the verandah/patio setting along with the central thematic focus of the set - the large dish of water with which the aforementioned goddess will perform her sensual and utterly compelling ablutions.
Already, though, the set is working its magic. The colours here are remarkably vivid. Astonishingly so, really. The blues of the out-of-focus bowl and the gorgeous lingerie; the blues, reds and ochres of her art. But there's darkness here, too. It's in the ironwork of her chair, the fabric of her robe, the wildness of her hair. This set, you suspect, is going to be special. Oh, you have no idea...
The art. The art is phenomenal. But so is the lady it adorns. She is lost here. Lost in her own world of pleasure, desire and sensation. What would it be like to see that desire fully awakened? To watch as it takes hold of her formidable, spellbinding form?
Well, it might look like this. She is perfect. Breasts jutting proudly, she sits in the bowl. Ink seems to crawl and writhe across her skin. Behind her, nature holds its breath, not a blade of grass stirring nor leaf rustling. The goddess is resting, gathering her strength. Or perhaps simply noting the sensation of cool water on searing flesh. She is majestic, magnificent, worthy of obeisance.
What can one possibly add to this? Nothing. Such perfection needs no adulteration nor amplification. It simply is.
And here she is, again, her ablutions ended, as vibrant and bold and beautiful as the art inscribed upon her extraordinary body.
And, yes, I know I've gone overboard, but, dammit, as with all these sets, there's something here that elevates this set beyond the 'normal' and into a realm that is part art, part mysticism, and all sensual grace and wonder. This is down to Valkyria herself, of course, but also the skill and creativity of the photographer who has constructed a 'world' for this set that is at once fantastical and also 'hyper-real'. This set burns and sears its way into the consciousness, leaving an imprint on the consciousness. And the emotions, for that matter. It is just perfect.
As all three sets are - although in somewhat different ways. This site is at its best when eroticism, creativity and individuality meet to produce something unique and uniquely beautiful. That is certainly the case here. All three sets are worthy of your time and love. Enjoy!
