That could have been worse and, in many ways, was actually pretty pleasant. The fact that half my timetable is teaching bottom sets brings challenges and bonuses; the teaching will be challenging and my differentiation game will need to be good, but there will be a smaller volume of marking (bottom sets are smaller numerically and tend to produce less). Swings and roundabouts, everyone. Swings and roundabouts.
In other news, @sophoulla has a new set out and it is awesome. I strongly advise anyone who hasn't yet checked it out to do so straight away. I might blog further about it later, but I've got a full day's worth of lessons to prepare tonight so... don't hold your breath. :)

Thank you, @vehera! The timetable's a bit weird. Two full days followed by a day with a free afternoon (Wednesday) followed by two full days again. It's kind of... intense. I'm feeling it tonight, tbh. But, the classes are pretty good for the most part. My bottom set in year 10 is just lovely. Nice kids who really want to learn. Can't ask for more than that. :)
