I posted a few days ago that this site has been something of a lifesaver over the last couple of weeks. I’ve been careering towards the end of the academic year with ever increasing velocity, it seems, and I’ve been getting pretty frayed around the edges. This site, then, has become a bit of an antidote to the dreary crushing monotony of exam scripts and the writing of sanitised perfunctory reports. (Union rules notwithstanding, I miss the days of handwritten reports in which you could inject some personality, humour and, where necessary, dry reproach. But I digress…) Below are my thoughts on just a handful of the SG sets that have, perhaps metaphorically – or perhaps not, saved my life in the last couple of weeks.
First up is @Sophoulla whose most recent set, High By The Beach, showcases her bombshell curves rather wonderfully. The new hair colours really suit her; she remains flawlessly beautiful and the natural light adds a purity to the shots that is almost breathtaking. Sophoulla remains one of the most dramatically gorgeous girls on the site. Thank you, Sophoulla, for making last Tuesday bearable.
Next up is @Hex. Hex wowed me with her earlier sets, but Sex, Lies & Videotape takes it up a level. One of the wonderful things about SG is how you get to see girls develop as models and this set is a perfect example of this. That Hex is phenomenally beautiful has always been indisputable, but she’s added to her beauty a growing sense of confidence that is very attractive. While her beauty remains as elegant and delicate as ever, there’s a seductive, precocious quality to some of these pictures that I absolutely love. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
I’ve blogged about @jacqueline before. I’ll probably do so again. I don’t care, really. When she keeps on putting out quality sets, it feels rather wrong not to respond in some way. Without You is a heartbreakingly beautiful set – rich, soulful eyes; astonishingly sexy body; beautifully styled hair – it’s all here. Jacqueline absolutely understands how to engage with the camera and it’s impossible not to feel a pang of heartache and longing when looking at these pics. Powerful, heady stuff.
Sun-Kissed is @natashalegeyda’s new set and it is, as is always the case with anything Natasha does, absolutely incredible. Natasha is one of many Italian goddesses on the site (you’re going to meet another one shortly) and here she commands your attention right from the opening pic. Bathed in light, this set sizzles with a languid eroticism that quite takes the breath away. Natasha’s body is the stuff of dreams, her face the platonic ideal of raw passionate beauty. A set absolutely worth immersing yourself in.
@fay has long been a favourite of mine, but her latest set, I Know You Need Me, is especially sexy. Fay is a flawlessly pretty girl, but here she adds an element of sheer raunchiness too. I think it's the collar, personally, but it's also in the way she looks at the camera - smouldering sensuality bordering on naked desire. Fay's hair remains a thing of considerable beauty all on its own, of course, but the whole package is just perfect. She is bewitching, enchanting, intoxicating. Simply wonderful!
For some reason @comet slipped under my radar – until yesterday when I scrolled through the sets and came across I Want S’More. What a fun set this is! Comet is lovely and extremely sexy. There’s a real sense of mischievous playfulness in this set that is incredibly attractive. Anyone who can look at a marshmallow like that gets my vote. She reclines on that fireplace remarkably well, too. An awesome, gorgeous set!
Finally (for now), here’s @tanyabat from her latest set, Sunlight’s Bath. As you may have guessed, I’m a big fan of photographers using natural light and this set does so very well. Elegant, sensual and stunningly beautiful, tanyabat is another Italian goddess who absolutely knows how to work the camera. Here her posing is phenomenal. She is, by turns, ravishingly gorgeous, touchingly vulnerable and teasingly playful. It’s a great set with lots to offer and it stopped me from going insane on Friday morning.
It should go without saying that there are a lot more sets I could have mentioned. This site’s sense of fun and unpredictability is one of its unique selling points. I haven’t got into the various blogs – both hopeful and SG – that helped maintain my sanity, too. Maybe that’ll be a blog post for another time. Til then, ciao!
