I've got some catching up to do. A lot, actually. I try to peruse each and every set that's posted on the site, but it's difficult sometimes to keep up. Below are a few SG sets that have kind of stood out to me over the last few weeks. My usual disclaimer about these not being in any way a 'definitive' list absolutely applies here.
I'll start with a girl with one of the most beautiful, genuine, heartwarming smiles I have ever seen. @candyhell has had a couple of recent sets. The pic below is taken from her latest one, Aristocratic Beauty. The set is kind of unusual in that it features both interior and exterior shots so you get the best of both worlds. And @candyhell herself is just magically, bewitchingly beautiful. That second adverb is selected quite deliberately too. @candyhell possesses a slightly fey quality. There's a hint of wanton playfulness to her posing which is totally mesmerising. That wild red hair, the pretty freckles, that smile... Ahem. She's quite the young lady. And she updates her blog regularly too, so it's well worth following her.
Next up is @Vampirexa . The pic below is taken from her recent set Apple of Sodom, which is a bit like a full-on frontal assault on your vision. @vampirexa has a stunning body and a look that is scarily hypnotically sexy. Now, I'm a reasonably conservative chap by nature, but there's something about Vampirexa that encourages you to cast your inhibitions to the wind and take a headlong plunge into a world of decadent gothic sensuality. Her set is well worth a look.
At the other end of the erotic spectrum, is @skyhook 's latest set, Unknown Pleasures. Sometimes the simple approach is enough and that is certainly the case here. @skyhook is just adorable. Stick her in an unfurnished room with lots of natural light and she's beautiful enough to create magic. That is exactly what she's done here. Her unforced smile, naturalistic posing and beautiful hair combine to captivate the viewer effortlessly. It's a fantastic set that really does deserve your attention.
The same could be said of @lillianrose 's new set, Frequency of Waves. Like skyhook's set, there's a wonderful simplicity to the photographs and an awesome use of natural light. @lillianrose herself is just phenomenally pretty. There's a great sense of calm and confidence to these pics that makes the whole set rather magical. In this set, she wears her hair in a braid which here shows off how beautiful her neck is (for those of you who have a thing for a shapely neck - that sounds almost Victorian! :) ). Another wonderfully serene and beautiful set.
I would imagine that we all have our own opinions on who the 'stars' of the site are - those models who have been around for a while and whose beauty and longevity combine to cement themselves as bona fide goddesses in our minds. For me, @riae definitely qualifies. A new set from her is an event in itself and her recent White Oleander set is no exception. When I see @riae , I see beauty, pure and simple. Her figure is stunning, as is her body art, and her facial features are just exquisite. My heart skips a beat when I see she's posted a new pic on her blog, and a new set from her is something to be truly savoured. I am in awe of her.
So that's it for me for the moment. I'm off to have a look at some more photo sets. Like I said, there's a lot to catch up on... :)
