Eh... So Oninotaki, my room mate and long time friend, is a person. The thing about people is that no one really knows any other one and sometimes that includes one's self. Occasionally people try to get to know other people and/or themselves and other people and or they themself don't/doesn't like the new facet that has come into view with whatever revelution of the self that has just transpired. So consequently oni's buddy (who also is a part of this web site, though not for much longer apparently) is worried about some of the "new" things oni is doing. Well, they really aren't new, but they're new to oni's friend. Anyway, oni gets all wierded out (which is much less wierded out than most people's all wierded out, by the way) by the friends post in his journal. The strange thing (to oni and myself) is that the friend isn't around enough to know that the posts in oni's journal represent a very small portion of his life.
On the other hand, some of the critisms the friend has written are right on. Oni is not perfect, nor should he be, and only he really knows the extent to which he is willing to seek perfection.
The friends post was sincere and, in my opinion, valid in it's over all critique of oni's life thus far. However, depending upon the source, the same critique could be valid with regards to anybody's life. The friend, I'm sure, realizes this and he put in several phrases that make me think that he in fact does.
So the real issue is, does oni think that he need's to improve himself in the manner in which the friend advises? If so, then he should follow the friends advice, because that advice will certainly lead to a healthier, more productive oni. But, if oni does not derrive happieness from health or productivity, should he change? It might not make him happy...
