Good morning from San Diego!
I hope everyone has a fun & safe New Years. No big plans for me. Maybe I will sulk some more.
I spent all day yesterday crying my little green eyes out. Its time for some change. I've been thinking about life... my life a lot lately, and what change needed to happen. I finally decided its time to get the hell out of Dodge. At least for a little while.
So while I used to tell people, that I love SD too much to ever leave, I will be leaving soon. Right now, there is NOTHING here for me. Among several other reasons; No job, no relationship, no attachments, no school, no real plans.... I have a few friends I guess... (but if they really are good friends we will be able to stay in touch). My family is here, but both my mom and brother understand and support my decision in getting the hell out for a while. My brother went to Canada for a year when he was 19. And then he came home. Maybe that's what will happen with me. Or maybe I will find what I am looking for and start my new life.
And- as pathetic as it may be, moving away is the only way I will get over/get away from this one boy who has been torturing my heart for 2 years now. You may think it weak that I have to move out of the State just to get over a boy, but as I said above, there ARE other reasons. Though I didn't get into as much detail about it.
Anyways. I have decided that I am moving in March. I will leave right after my 22nd birthday in February.
The only thing left to figure out is- How am I getting there.... and where am I going.
I have a friend in both Boston and NYC who could help me get set up before I get out there. Find me an apartment/help find me a job.
I think living in New York would be amazing. I've never really been to the upper east coast, and it would be a HUGE change and a big adventure.
So if any of you are from NYC and know how to/want to help me on my way to get out there at the beginning of March, I'd love love love you.
P.S. Will I still need a winter/warm coat in NYC for March? Keep in mind, my wardrobe is currently VERY Southern California.
