Every time I've ever tried to keep a diary or journal, I've never been able to stick with it for more than a couple of weeks. Since I consider this to be my journal for the next year, I'm trying to make a better effort to write every single day, especially on the days when I don't feel like I have very much worthwhile to say.
Here's one thing that kind of grinds my gears. My library system has an electronic borrowing system; you can access books, magazines, etc., electronically and read them on a tablet. Pretty cool, especially when you want to read something like John Meacham's biography of Thomas Jefferson, but you don't want to carry around a book that's a thousand pages. What's not cool is that the one magazine that I want, the Economist, my library system doesn't have. They have people, but not the Economist. What a crock.
