I just finished watching the Netflix miniseries Maniac, and by the end I was crying. Not bawling, but definitely misty-eyed. I tend to have a rather flat affect which gives people the impression that my emotional range is constricted, but a surprising number of things make my cry. The end of the Iron Giant, for example; no matter how many times I watch that film, the ending always brings me to tears.
The only other thing that I want to mention about this series is how pleased I was that, for once, major confrontations were handled with something other than people shouting or shooting at one another. It was refreshing to watch something in which the major problems of the characters were overcome by choosing to wrestle with their demons and then deciding to help one another. It was a pleasant change of pace from the typical series which usually ends with a big fight.
