Edited to say:
My man's home! My man's home! My man's home...like Uhmmm, HOME HOME!!! They are back from Van Nyes almost six months after they started the "8-12 week long job" away from home and I couldn't have received any better Christmas present than to have him here with me again!
I'm thinking that it might take me a bit to get caught up with all of YOU now...but the good news is that between having a little more normal in my life again and having a vacation that starts tomorrow I am hoping to once again be the SG friend ya'll remember
Peace, love and animal crackers!

HO-FREAKIN'-HO Ya'll!! It's finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Southern Idaho!
We got our second snow of the season on Saturday!

This was in the middle of the afternoon...

There's a part of me that's been looking forward to the snow because it's doesn't feel like Christmas time to me without it...and there's a part of me that's dreadin' the snow because it's so much work! Saturday we only got about an inch or so of snow in the early morning hours but yesterday it snowed on and off all day long so I spent a fair amount of my weekend shovelin' snow and I sure can feel it this morning It's beautiful though and seeing it on the ground and up in the mountains that surround Pocatello makes me finally feel like it's Christmas!
I got the pleasure of hangin' out with one of my very favorite SG people this weekend so that was definately the highlight for me ZPO swung by Pocatello on his way home to Texas for his Christmas vacation and we had the opportunity to catch up with each other on Saturday night over dinner:
Nothing better than good company and big ass Patron Margarita's!
*******************************************************************************
My only complaint was that the two hours went by WAY too fast...
*******************************************************************************
This is the second time I've gotten to spend time with him on his way through Pocatello and he's gotta be one of teh most genuinely nice guys that I've EVAR met He has this uncanny knack for sending me a few choice kind words via text just when I really need them and always seems to know when I am in need of a friend! So yeah...we had a great dinner together and he was supposed to leave town yesterday morning but his truck had other plans for him Lucky me..I got to bring him back to Casa de Jewelz and Flashmo for some BLT's and soup and he got to meet the "dog pound"

ZPO is welcome anytime now according to the dogs...

I'm grateful that I only have a few days to work this week before I begin a Christmas vacation on Friday and if all goes well Flashmo should be home from Van Nyes for good next week. I'm almost afraid to get excited about it because I don't want to jinx it, you know? Wow this has been the longest half a year in my life! Anyway, having the week before Christmas off will be an amazing gift for me!
Gotta get heading downstairs to hit the pole for my workout...hope all's well in your world today! I swear if things ever settle down here that you all will start seeing me around more often but it's just been too busy lately for me to even carve out a little bit of time on SG. I miss you all very much and even if I'm not stopping by to say hello just know that I'm thinking of you often!
Much loves to you
